More fun with Photoshop

My friend came over this afternoon and helped me figure out how to apply actions in Photoshop Elements. It was a little tricky becuase I'm only running version 6.0 and it's not quite as easy as the newer version 7.0, but we finally figured it out - after a couple of hours! This action is from Coffee Shop.

My friend came over this week so we could get some shots of her newborn. I think these photos will prove that I have no business photographing newborns. She was in no mood to have her picture taken and decided she would not go to sleep - for nearly three hours! She's still pretty cute though - and I got to spend time with my friend so all in all it was worth it! If I get around to it, I will post some of the other photos.

my friend just had a baby girl and she came over so i could get a few photos.  unfortunately, my camera battery died on me (agh!) within a few minutes, but i did manage to get a couple of shots.  hopefully i get a second chance to take some pictures... this girl is beautiful!

Taking family portraits is so much harder than it looks...

I took these photos a couple of weeks ago and realized I need a lot more practice.  Granted, we were limited by time (only had 20 minutes) and location (had to take them around their housing complex).  But it's teaching me to be much more aware of EVERYTHING in the picture frame.  Maybe this is just too much work for me. :)
